It is with mixed emotion that I announce my retirement from AAA Family Foot Care Center Forest City location. As most of you are aware I am diabetic and have been advised by my personal physician to take a step back and reduce my case load. My last day will be October 1st 2025. It has been a great privilege to care for you and your families. I am deeply grateful for the trust you have placed in me for the past 33 years. 

This letter is to inform you that I will be closing my practice/retiring from practice at the Forest City location on October 1st 2025. Dr Gretchen Lawrence DPM and ABC Podiatry will taking over the AAA practice location in Forest City N.C. . She is excited to provide Podiatric Medical Services to the Rutherford county region of North Carolina and will be more than happy to provide you continued Podiatric care at this same location 1322 West Main Street Forest City. 

It is very important that you continue to receive podiatric care from a podiatrist of your choice from the many competent practitioners available in the area. If you would like a copy of your medical records sent to another podiatrist, please have your new Podiatric Physician send a signed and completed medical release form that they will provide you and forward to:

It is important for you to continue with treatment because of your current medical condition(s). Therefore, I encourage you to select a physician promptly and place yourself under his/her prompt and ongoing care.

It has been a pleasure providing you with podiatric care. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you, and I urge you to continue receiving podiatric care.
